The brewing world is evolving, and packaging plays a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future. The EBC Symposium 2025 invites you to be part of the conversation by submitting your abstract for this year’s theme, focusing on innovations in sustainable beer packaging and dispense technology.
With increasing regulatory frameworks like the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the industry is more committed than ever to addressing packaging solutions. This symposium is your opportunity to share your expertise, insights, and innovations in this vital field.
Call for Abstracts
We welcome submissions from brewing technologists, quality experts, and specialists in packaging, dispense systems, and sustainability. Abstracts should explore one or more of the following themes:
- Innovations in keg, keg components and materials
- Innovations in beer-tank systems, or other novel aspects of sustainable packaging
- Beer dispense systems, ease of operation, cleanability and consistency in quality
- Consumer acceptance of draught beer, both from the intrinsic (beer quality) as well as extrinsic point of view (marketing and PoS considerations)
Submission Details
Abstracts must be submitted through our online system by 3 February 2025. Submissions should include:
- An abstract of up to 1,200 characters (including spaces)
- A mini-CV of up to 1,200 characters
- A photo of the main author/principal speaker
